I questioned the extra charge and was told that it was a resort fee. THIS IS NOT A RESORT. This is a terrible dirty motel, that happens to be within walking distance of Kings Dominion.
Nothing fancy here but a clean place to sleep overnight, would not stay here if I had not planned on staying at the park all day. I used this just for sleeping. A quick 3 minute walk to the park. The grounds were kept clean and the lobby does offer coffee only, you will have to go back out on 95 for Breakfast, lunch or dinner which was about a 10 minute drive.
Hotel was next to KD. We have stayed here before. This time the room had a few issues. The table & bar it was on was so shaky I was afraid to use it. Was dirt on the bed spread. Sense we have stayed there before, I will stay there again. Their pool is amazing! Employees are always so nice.
My reservation including tax was supposed to be $87.68. I was charged $90.18.
There was no soap in the room. The shower dispenser was empty. There was only one towel. And only one bed had a blanket.
Great front desk staff for checkin and check out. Quiet hotel at night time. Updated rooms. The room needed to be cleaned better. Hair left in tub and dirt on carpet. The bedside light blew out twice. But overall would stay there again and recommend.
Actually quite good. Needed a cheap convenient place to stay in pinch. Desk clerk was nice and check in was a breeze. Room was clean and very roomy. Parking area seemed safe and well let. Checking out was just as easy as checking in.
