Great park with friendly staff. Clean, and reliable. I've been coming to this park since I was a child. And I always come for the freight fest. The lines can be horrible with the average wait time of 40min-1hr+ on a busy weekend. And sometimes they run out of turkey legs. But overall it's a great place to go with friends or on a date. The last time I was there I spent 12 hours exploring and riding the rides.
This is one of our favorite parks to visit because of the high number of high thrill rides and coasters. However, we noticed on our most recent visit that a lot of the rides are starting to look a little run down (especially Volcano, which shuts down frequently). The park is spread out a little oddly, so it sometimes feels like you're doing a lot of walking between things you want to do. We do really love their Halloween event - there are a lot of haunted houses included, and they do a great job scattering scare zones through the park. It's still a really great park, it just could use a little bit of renovating and sprucing up in a few areas.
Amazing Amusement park with great food and amazing rides this is a Must go place! Intimidator 305 is the biggest ride at the park at the moment and it is a intense ride that most blackout on or gray out on! They are getting a new roller coaster for 2017 which is called Twisted timbers and it's supposed to be amazing! This park goes above and beyond on service, the staff are nice and good. Entrance to the park is easy so that's good! Kings Dominion is a must go to park that you should experience.
Great theme park with several good roller coasters, a great attached waterpark, and fun non-coaster rides. Food options aren't great, but they have picnic areas in the parking lot. Good value on the season tickets. Be sure to not too miss the Halloween Haunt!
We got season passes this year and we are happy that we did. We have probably taken our family 15 different times over the course of the year and our kids still get really excited every time we go. Outside of a couple saturdays in the summer, wait times were always reasonable. Park is kept in good order and they continue to add new rides and attractions. Renewing our season pass was an easy decision.
